Up in Northeast Tennessee, South Holston Lake prides itself on great fishing. The reservoir’s water clarity and low productivity make the fishing unbeatable. The forage base is made up of a mixture of gizzard shad, threadfin shad, alewife, bluegill, and various minnows.” Check out Fishing at South Holston Lake for some more fishing tips this spring.
