According to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency fireworks permit office, there will be a fireworks display at Lakeshore Marina, Mile 36 on Watauga Lake on Thursday, July 4, 2013.

The July 4, 2013 Watauga Lake Boat Parade is set for 2 p.m. This is the 13th annual parade and most of the lake’s marinas will be participating with gas prizes for the best decorated boats.
