It’s the 20th anniversary of the Tri-Cities Annual Boat Show and they’re celebrating by making the event the largest of its kind in this region, even bigger and better!
Just how big will the show be? It’s taking over the Mini Dome at East Tennessee State University March 11-13th where you’ll see a wide variety of boats from vendors from Bristol, Johnson City and Kingsport. Rockingham Marina & Sales, Wake to Wake Water Sports, Fish Springs Marina and Sales are just a few of the many vendors who’ll be there. In fact, if you’re in the market for a boat that is sure to make this summer one of your best ever, we’d just about guarantee you’ll find it.
As usual, interest in the Boat Show is high and up to 3,000 people are expected at the Mini Dome over three days. While boats will be a big part of the event, there are other elements to enjoy, including training, educational materials, and a boating safety class available from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, which will be taught by the U.S. Power Squadron. The National Safe Boating council will also be on hand.
All the most popular boat brands will be part of the show so if you’re in the market for one, you’ll feel like you’re in paradise. The latest models of all sorts of boats, kayaks, pontoon boats, paddleboards, wake boards, engine, tow vehicles and accessories will be available. And it’s not just for adults; there will be plenty for the kids to enjoy too!
If you find the boat you’re looking for and decide you’d like to see yourself on it this summer out at the lake, there also will be representatives there from finance companies and waterfront service providers.
Concession stands with food and beverages will also be available, which means you can take your time and see all the show has to offer without having to worry about leaving for lunch or dinner.
The show takes place March 11 from 3-9 p.m., March 12 from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and March 13 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Best of all, if you go to this Website right now you can get one free ticket per family while they last. Tickets are just $5 and each child 12 and under accompanied by an adult will be admitted free.
Whether you’re looking to purchase or rent a personal watercraft or other accessories, there’s not going to be a better place to be March 11-13 than the Tri-Cities Annual Boat show!
