Q: You have a beautiful sunny day on the lake. How would you spend it, and which Carefree Boat Club boat would you choose to take out?

As a slalom skier, I’m going to grab a surfboat and the water as early in the morning as possible to take advantage of all that beautiful glassy water and no traffic. Then, it’s all about big carving turns and throwing spray with the folks I love most until my arms fall off (and maybe getting silly and seeing how much air I can catch flying across the wake, full send- always!).

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

If I won the lottery, I would create a water sports mecca: multiple slalom ski courses, a cable wake park, a true surf pool, inflatable obstacle course for kiddos of all ages, man-made whitewater course, the whole nine yards in all disciplines. It would be like an olympic village for families, beginners, and professional athletes to gather, train, and compete together.

Q: Why do you choose to call the Carefree Boat Club home?

The culture at Carefree Boat Club sold me right at the start; everyone on the team here is just as passionate about boating and being on the water as I am. We all want to provide the best day-on-the-water experience for our members and have fun doing so! Boaters are the absolute best species of people, and getting to play a small part in our members making core memories with their loved ones on the water is why I wake up excited to head to the dock each and every day. Whether you are a wet and wild water sports fanatic like me, a casual and sedate cruiser, or somewhere in between, if you’re on a boat, you’re my people!
