ABOUT CAREFREE BOAT CLUB WATAUGA LAKE

Lakeshore Marina and Resort on Watauga Lake, Tennessee, is located 40 minutes from Boone, NC., and 30 minutes from Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol TN.,  off Highway 321. The drive alone through the mountains is worth the trip!

Watauga Lake is one of the largest and cleanest lakes in the country! It is over 17 miles long from end to end and has 105 miles of great fishing and beautiful shorelines. Visitors are sure to enjoy the scenic drive through the Cherokee National Forest and Appalachian Mountains of Northern Tennessee.

MARINA AMENITIES

Lakeshore Resort on beautiful Watauga Lake offers a full service marina, with cabin and motel rentals, and has an onsite restaurant named the Captain’s Table. The Restaurant offers breathtaking views of one of the country’s most scenic lakes and offers a wide selection of entrees including, seafood, steak, chicken and more.

The dock provides mooring services, has live bait, dry docking and licenses can be purchased on site.

WHAT TYPE OF BOATS MEMBERS HAVE ACCESs TO

Brand new boats are added to the fleet each year!  Members enjoy Tritoons, Surf and Ski boats, as well as a Double Decker Tritoon with a slide. All boats range in length from 18′ to 27′ feet and have either a 150hp or 250hp engine, allowing for a variety of water sporting activities. The Carefree Boat Club of Tennessee strives to only offer the best quality boat lines which currently includes:
